Maciek, Maja and the rest of Class 5b always thought that the most exciting thing on the school bus was who got to sit at the window first. That is, until one Tuesday morning when a new driver - Mr Gąsior - stepped onto their bus. - Good morning, kids! - he called out in a confident voice, correcting his yellow-rimmed glasses. - Hop on! We are in for a very special journey! Maciek looked suspiciously at Maja. She just shrugged her shoulders and smiled widely, pulling him by the sleeve. The bus set off. At first glance, everything was as usual: fogged-up windows, bags of sandwiches, conversations about the maths test. But after a while Maciek noticed that the bus was definitely going faster than usual. - Er, Mr Goose... - started shyly Maciek. - Hold on tight! - called out Mr Goosey. - Today the school is really going to "start turning"! At that moment, the bus accelerated strongly, the wheels squealed, and everyone skidded sideways like a rollercoaster. Numbers appeared on the counter that Maciek preferred not to think about. The bus turned sharply to the right - and suddenly.... they were off the road! Instead of heading towards the school, the bus headed straight through the park, between the trees, laughing to the hilt at the squirrels, who squealed in terror. Kuba got up from his seat and broadcast through the megaphone: - Attention, please fasten your seat belts! Captain Goose is about to take us on an express tour! Maja looked out of the window - instead of the familiar block of flats, she saw a giant inflatable hippo, which had not been there yesterday. Had the bus driven into the heart of the new amusement park? Suddenly, the bus came to an abrupt halt in front of a huge blue marquee that read: "TODAY ONLY HERE - A GREAT ADVENTURE!". The children gathered at the door, and Mr Goose turned around with a mysterious smile: - You didn't think you'd be bored on the way to school, did you? First come, first served! At the same moment, the bus door slid open with a loud hiss, and everyone saw what awaited them inside the tent....
