Antek's Vanishing Hands

It was after school when Antek walked through the empty school cloakroom, carrying a backpack heavier than usual. He stopped at his locker, because he suddenly noticed that from behind the dirty glass he was looking out at him his own shadow, but without hands! Antek furrowed his brow and raised his hands to his face. They were! Surely they were! He clenched his eyelids to see if it was some stupid trick of the light. He opened his eyes - and that's when he saw his hands slowly become transparent until they disappeared altogether! - AAAAA! - he shouted, but it only echoed off the empty benches. He tried to touch the door handle - and felt it under his invisible fingers. He watched in disbelief as his sleeve dangled in the air, and his hand not visible at all. Suddenly he heard footsteps in the corridor. Someone was walking towards him! Antek dropped his rucksack. He quickly hid his invisible hands behind his back. The door to the cloakroom swung open with a quiet creak, and Kuba - the biggest bully in the class - stepped inside. - 'I heard there was someone here,' said Kuba, looking around suspiciously. - Are you hiding from me, Antek? Antek felt his heart pounding like crazy. On the one hand, he wanted to shout that he had superpowers. On the other hand... what if Cuba took this secret away from him? Or worse, everyone finds out about it? Then he noticed something else. The shadow of a second, very strange hand appeared on the floor. Someone's hand, thin and elongated, was moving slowly towards him.... Antek held his breath, not knowing what would happen next.
