Clock from great-grandfather's wardrobe

Great-grandfather's big house always seemed a little mysterious to Eve and Michael. The wooden staircase creaked with every step, and the attic was filled with the smell of old books and dust. One rainy afternoon, the siblings decided to spend some time there, looking for forgotten treasures.
In a corner, behind a large chest, stood an old clock with an ornate pendulum. The clock hadn't worked for years, but when Michael touched its silver hand, something clicked quietly. Suddenly the whole room trembled. Eve grabbed her brother's hand, and the world around them blurred like coloured paint on wet paper.
When they opened their eyes, they were standing in the middle of a cobbled street, surrounded by people in strange old-time costumes. There was the smell of fresh bread and the sound of horses' hooves in the air. The clock from their great-grandfather's wardrobe lay on the ground just outside, a bright spot flickering on its dial.
Suddenly, a boy in a strange hat emerged from the crowd. He handed Michael a map folded into four parts and whispered:
"This is where your journey begins. But remember - not everything is as it seems..."
The siblings exchanged surprised glances. At the same moment, the clock began to tremble again and the map unrolled itself, revealing a mysterious sign. Eve and Michael felt that their adventure was just beginning. What lurked around the next corner? What secret does the map hide? And will they make it home?
