Clock from Leokadia's workshop

Olivier had always enjoyed exploring the forgotten corners of his town, but this afternoon, with the rain drumming against the windows like a mad drummer, he took on a challenge that changed everything. Together with Marta and Boris, he snuck through the wet streets to Mrs Leokadia's old studio - a place that for years had been shrouded in a fog of secrets and strange murmurs as dusk fell.
The workshop was full of clocks: cuckoo clocks hanging on the walls, pocket timepieces, even one huge clock standing against the wall. Each one ticked with a different rhythm, and the silence was occasionally broken by a mysterious tapping.
Boris was the first to notice that one of the clocks did not show the time at all - the hands were turning in the opposite direction and the dial was flickering slightly. Martha gently touched the glass and Oliver leaned over to get a better look at the strange marks carved into the edges of the dial. Suddenly, a quiet whisper came from the centre of the clock:
"Are you looking for answers that no one knows?"
All three jumped back in surprise. The clock flashed with a green glow, and a thick fog spread around them. When it subsided, they were no longer in Mrs Leocadia's studio. They were standing on the shore of a mysterious lake, surrounded by trees whose leaves glowed with a soft blue light.
Behind them, above the water, hung a clock - the same one, but bigger, suspended high between the branches. There were sounds coming from within it, as if someone was trying to speak, but through the noise and echo it was difficult to understand the words. Oliver felt a thrill of excitement and curiosity.
- 'Do you see the same thing as me? - whispered Marta, pointing to a figure in a wide-brimmed hat emerging from the darkness.
Everything stopped for a moment as the mysterious figure took the first step towards them....
