Forest Trackers and the Night Visitor

In the heart of Willow Forest, where the shady trees weave into a green roof, lived a group of special friends. There was Pooh - a brave badger who loved sports and always had a paw torch with him. There was also Pooh - a squirrel, known for his cleverness and love of puzzles. The youngest was Mela - the owl who, although a bit shy, could see perfectly even in the darkest nights.
Each day brought them new adventures, but on this evening something strange happened. As the sun was hiding behind the hill, Pooh noticed something glittering on the path leading to his burrow. He walked closer and blinked in disbelief - strange, completely unfamiliar footprints were imprinted on the soft ground. They did not resemble the paws of any animal that lived in the forest.
- Pusia! Mela! Come here quickly! - cried the excited Pooh.
Soon the two friends were already at his side. Pusia immediately noticed that the footsteps continued towards an old oak tree and then disappeared behind dense blackberry bushes.
- 'I've never seen footprints like that,' said owl Mela, squinting her eyes in the evening light. - Has anyone new appeared in our forest?
Pooh suggested that they draw up a plan of action. They all came together in the clearing and decided to set off on the trail of footprints just after sunset. Pooh grabbed a torch, Pooh took a notebook to write everything down, and Mela took to the air to observe the area from above.
The further they walked, the footprints became clearer and clearer. On the way they met Mr Hedgehog, who warned them to be careful.
- I heard strange sounds in the night,' he whispered. - 'You'd better not get separated.
The friends thanked him and moved on. When they reached a clearing behind an old oak tree, they saw something startling: a small silver sphere glittered among the grasses. Beside it, footsteps were still glowing, which suddenly... broke off right next to a clump of ferns.
The friends looked after each other with beating hearts. There was a strange tension in the air, as if the forest had held its breath for a moment. Should they approach the orb? Or was there someone hiding among the ferns who had left these footprints?
