The Wolf Forest has always been a place full of rustling, snapping twigs and the quiet conversations of hidden animals. This spring, however, something had changed. Rudo, a young fox with an unruly reddish-brown ponytail, noticed that at night the forest became disturbingly different. One sleepless night, when the moon was almost full, Rudo was lying in his burrow and listening to the familiar sounds. Suddenly, he heard something he had never heard before - a deep echo that carried among the trees. It sounded as if someone was calling a name.... But it was unclear whose. Intrigued, Rudo told his best friends Hedgehog Spike and Spotted Owl about the mysterious echo the next day. Together they decided that they had to find out what was behind the strange sounds. They gathered provisions: a few nuts, some berries and a fluffy leaf to jot down ideas, then set off along a path deep into the dark forest. On the way, they encountered an old badger who warned them not to go near the clearing behind the Crooked Pine, as it was said to be spooky there. But for the brave friends, this was just extra encouragement. The closer they got to the clearing, the clearer the echoes became. Spotted Owl took to the air to look around from above, and Rudo and Hedgehog moved quietly among the ferns. Then, from behind the dense bushes, they heard another call. This time the friends were sure - it was no mere echo, but some voice trying to contact them. Suddenly... a figure emerged from the bushes that no one had expected. The friends held their breath and their hearts began to beat faster. Who or what had appeared before them at the edge of the mysterious clearing?
