Lost Traces in the Old Forest

The Old Forest has always been a place full of mysteries, but this morning everything seemed even stranger than usual. Jurek the hedgehog, Pola the bunny and Franek the squirrel met up in the glade as usual, but instead of happy chatter, something completely different caught their attention. There were fresh, large paw prints in the grass that none of them had ever seen before. Jurek walked closer and sighed: "Well look, these are definitely not the footprints of any of our neighbours. Such claws!" "Maybe it's a wolf?" whispered a frightened Pola, looking around. Franek, however, was intrigued. "Maybe it's some new inhabitant of the forest? Or... someone needs help!" The animals decided to follow the trail of footprints deep into the darker parts of the forest. The further they walked, the more surprises they encountered: scattered leaves, mysterious noises and colourful feathers that looked quite fresh. Each step became bolder and bolder, until suddenly, among the dense ferns, Pola stopped abruptly. "Shh!" she hissed, pointing at something glittering between the trees. After a moment, a quiet hooting and crackling of branches reached their ears. All three hid behind the thick trunk of an old oak tree, their hearts beating faster than usual. Gazing into the darkness, they tried to see what was hiding among the ferns.... Was it a dangerous stranger, or someone waiting for their help?
