Maja sat on the roof of her house, looking up at the starry sky. She loved the nights during which the Milky Way could be seen. Her younger brother, Alex, slid in beside her with a torch in his hand and a notebook in which he meticulously jotted down all his observations. For months, they had both dreamt of going into space, but never thought that this night would change their lives forever. Suddenly, from afar, a blue flash cut through the peaceful silence of the town. Maja sprang to her feet and Alex dropped his torch. - 'Do you see that? - He whispered with his eyes wide open. Maja nodded, and her heart began to beat faster. The flash took shape and slowly descended into the field behind their house. For a moment they both looked at each other in disbelief, but then simultaneously moved towards the mysterious light. When they reached the spot, they saw something that looked like a small spaceship. It was silvery and sleek, and the door leading inside just opened with a quiet hiss. Coloured lights flashed inside, inviting them in. Maja and Alex exchanged glances - they both knew they MUST go in. Inside, the ship looked like a laboratory from a science fiction movie. Screens shimmered on the walls showing planets, galaxies and strange signs. Suddenly, the door closed behind them and the ship moved silently out of the way, lifting them above the ground. Through the portholes, they could see the house and the whole town disappear under a layer of clouds. In the middle of the wheelhouse, a hologram appeared depicting two figures: one in an astronaut suit, the other a cat-like figure in a spacesuit. The cat spoke in a human voice: - Welcome aboard the Star Adventure! Ahead of you is a task that only a few have succeeded in so far. - The cat blinked its golden eye and disappeared, and the ship shook as if it had encountered something in its path. At the same moment, a strange signal sounded. The screens lit up with incomprehensible signs, and on one of them appeared the image of a dark planet shrouded in a purple mist. - What could this be? - whispered Alex, feeling a thrill of excitement and.... a hint of fear. Maja pressed her nose against the glass, trying to see something beyond the porthole. A vibration pierced the ship, and the outline of an unknown planet appeared on the horizon. Suddenly the voice of the cat-like pilot sounded: - We are about to land. Get ready... - At the same moment, the lights flickered. The ship slowly lowered its flight, and everything around it seemed more and more unusual. What awaited Maya and Alex on this mysterious-looking planet?
