Mirror Labyrinth of the Twins

Lena and Kaj were siblings, but not the usual kind - they were twins who understood each other without words. Always together, always up for an adventure. One summer afternoon, as the clouds moved lazily across the sky, Lena pulled out from a drawer an old map they had once found in her grandfather's library.
The map showed strange signs and a path leading to the old orangery behind their house. The place, long abandoned, was overgrown with wild roses and ivy, and the sun's rays came through the dirty windows, painting dream-like patterns on the floor.
- Let's go there! - suggested Lena, clutching a map. - Maybe we'll find something interesting!
Kaj nodded, but Lena saw a hint of uncertainty in his eyes. - Are you sure? - He asked quietly. - 'I heard that there... You can hear strange sounds.
They walked carefully through the creaking door of the conservatory. Inside, the air had a sweet smell of heated leaves and earth. Suddenly, Lena noticed a stone staircase leading down that they had never seen before. They descended them and found themselves in a room full of mirrors - big ones, small ones, some were cracked, others quite clean.
In each of the mirrors were reflected not only them, but also.... other versions of themselves. Lena saw her reflection with laughing eyes, but also one that looked frightened. Kaj turned around quickly, feeling his heart start to beat faster and faster.
- 'Lena, do you see that? - he asked in a whisper.
Lena did not answer, for it was her reflection in one of the mirrors that winked at her. In the same instant, all the mirrors became covered in mist, and there was a quiet sound in the air, as if someone was whispering their names.
The twins squeezed their hands together, feeling a mixture of fear, curiosity and excitement rising within them. They already knew they had to discover what was hidden on the other side of the mirrors....
