It all started in the school canteen during a particularly boring big break. Kuba was sitting at the table with Lena and Maks, staring at his dry cheese roll as if it was about to speak. Lena had arranged a cucumber in the shape of a snail on her bun, and Maks was chewing on a carrot as usual, pretending it was a rabbit ear (his own, of course). - I've had enough of the usual sandwiches! - sighed Kuba. - Why can't we do something crazy? Lena looked at him with a glint in her eye. - Like a sandwich with crisps and marmalade? - Or with jam, mustard and cream cheese! - added Maks enthusiastically. Everyone fell silent for a moment, and then started laughing so loudly that even Mrs Jadzia from the kitchen looked at them from under her cap. And then the idea was born: the Monster Sandwich Club. They decided to act right away. They went to each table, collecting volunteers for experiments. Everyone was to bring the most unusual ingredient they could find in the fridge from home. Kuba brought jellies, Lena brought capers and Maks brought his secret weapon - Grandpa Kazik's pepper paste. After just a short while, the canteen turned into a laboratory for crazy cooks. Compositions so strange that even flies stayed away. Vanilla cheese with olives, chocolate with pickled cucumber, and once someone even suggested cottage cheese with ketchup. They tried everything, mixed everything. At one point, Lena declared that they had to go all the way - create the Monster Sandwich of All Time! Warmed by bursts of laughter and waves of disgust, they decided to hold a competition for the weirdest sandwich. But then something completely unexpected happened. The canteen door creaked loudly. A new pupil - Igor - walked in and immediately drew everyone's attention, as he was wearing a huge, green helmet on his head and a bag full of tightly sealed jars. - Can I join in? - He asked somewhat shyly. - Sure! - replied Kuba, unable to take his eyes off the mysterious jars. - What do you have in your bag?
