Mr Tenebrix's Cabinet of Mirrors

Tymek had always enjoyed wandering around the city, looking for places that ordinary people didn't dare to go. One cloudy afternoon, on his way home from school, he noticed a light shining through from behind the dirty windows of an old tenement building on Sailors' Street. No one had lived there for years, and children in the neighbourhood said it was haunted inside. Tymek did not believe such stories. Having made sure that no one was watching him, he opened the heavy door, which creaked like a door in a horror film.
The interior was permeated with the smell of dust and old books. A wooden staircase led up to the first floor. There, at the end of the corridor, Tymek noticed a soft, bluish light. He walked closer and opened the creaky door. Behind them stretched a study full of mirrors; large, small, round, rectangular, each with oddly twisted frames. In the middle of the room stood a strange armchair covered in silver fabric.
On one of the shelves lay an old book with an inscription engraved on the cover: "Mr Tenebrix's Cabinet of Mirrors". Some invisible force made Tymek open this book. On the first page, right next to the drawing of the key, was the inscription: "What you see in these mirrors is not always a reflection of you, but of your dreams ... or fears."
Tim looked into the nearest mirror. His reflection smiled wider than he was smiling, and then - winked at him in agreement. Frightened, Tymek took a step back, but then the other mirrors began to glow with a strange, pulsating light. The golden runes on the frame of the largest mirror flared, and a quiet whisper came from within it: "Cross the threshold, if you dare..."
Would Tymek dare to enter the magical world on the other side of the mirror? Will he meet Mr Tenebrix and discover the secrets of the cabinet of mirrors? Or will adventures he never even dreamed of await him there?
