Mystery of the Red Planet

The Galaxy Beetle spacecraft had already been circling the red sky of Mars for several hours. On board sat three young astronauts: Hania, Mani and Philip - friends from the School of Space Explorers. They had embarked on this journey because contact with scientists on the Martian research station had disappeared. - 'Apparently they have recently been investigating strange signals from the Red Planet's underworld,' whispered Mani, gazing out of the ship's window. - 'The signals could be coming from some kind of robot.... or space creatures! - added Hania, who had always dreamed of meeting aliens. Philip, the mission pilot, leaned over the control panel: - We are approaching the base. We're about to land. Everyone check your equipment! They emerged onto the surface of Mars. Red dust swirled around their feet, and the dome of the base was looming in the distance. The door was ajar. Silence reigned inside, broken only by the quiet buzzing of computers. - Hello? Is anyone here? - Hania asked, but was answered only by an echo. Suddenly Philip noticed a shiny object in the corner of the room. He picked it up - it turned out to be a small silver key with engraved symbols of unfamiliar letters. - Look, something is happening! - shouted Mani, pointing at the wall, on which mysterious lights began to appear, forming swirling patterns. At the same moment, the floor under their feet began to shake slightly. A strange metallic sound came from the depths of the corridor, as if someone - or something - was approaching slowly towards them.... The friends looked at each other, holding hands tightly. What awaited them in the darkness of the Martian base? Would they find the missing scientists, or would they discover a secret that no one had yet known?
