Lena loved looking in the school library, especially when it was raining. On this day, the drops drummed against the windowsill and the whole world seemed as if muted. There was a smell of dust and old paper between the bookcases, and the librarian, Mrs Zosia, was quietly tapping away at her computer. Lena was slowly skimming between the shelves, touching the spines of the books with her fingers, until suddenly something caught her eye. At the end of the darkest bookcase, where hardly anyone looked, stood a tall, slightly crooked shelf with books with strange titles: "Atlas of Star Gardens", "How to Talk to Trees" and "Guide to the Invisible". Lena bent down and saw a small brass handle sticking out of the side of the shelf. Her heart beat faster. No one had seen it before! She looked around - Mrs Zosia had disappeared somewhere behind the counter. Lena gently pulled the handle. The shelf creaked and suddenly.... it moved away like a door! Behind it was a narrow, dark gap. Lena felt a breath of cool air and the throbbing smell of wet moss and old books. Something blue flashed in the depths. Was it a torch? Or was it... a magical light? Lena took a deep breath. Her heart was pounding like crazy, but curiosity was stronger. She took a step forward, deeper into the mysterious passage - at that exact moment, something rustled right next to her, and a shadow emerged from the darkness, resembling a cat, but with shiny silver wings....
