The crew of the ship 'Space Mszczun' consisted of three brave explorers: Laura, Cuba and the dog Astro. Laura was eleven years old and loved space more than chocolate. Kuba, a year younger, wrote everything down in his electronic notebook, and Astro.... well, Astro had the best sense of smell in the galaxy and was never afraid of new smells. Their ship sailed through the blackness of the universe like silver lightning. Outside the windows they passed planets - green Garmia, pink Wellis and even a banana-shaped moon. Their destination was the planet Pyxis, recently discovered by astronomers. According to the probes, it was sending out strange signals - sounds similar to laughter and lights arranged in inscriptions that no one on Earth could read. - We're landing! - cried Laura, looking through the main viewfinder. The surface of Pyxis glowed purple and was covered with something that resembled inflatable pillows. - Is everything ready? - asked Cuba. - Yes! - barked Astro, putting on his space boots. As they put their feet on the soft ground of Pyxis, they felt like they were on a huge trampoline. Each step made them jump higher and higher. The first thing they saw were strange, glowing stones. One of them, the largest, pulsed with light in a rhythm like a heartbeat. Astro immediately started sniffing it, until suddenly the stone started to move! Laura grabbed Cuba's hand and their brave dog followed the stone between the cushion hills. Cuba glanced at his notebook, which registered something: "Unidentified beep." - 'I think we'll follow him,' Laura said, and they set off across the purple plain. After a while they came to a place where the stones were arranged in a perfect circle. In the centre of the circle they saw something that was not in any reports or maps: A translucent dome was rising from the ground, with strange shadows moving underneath. Suddenly they heard quiet laughter and their ship rattled far away on the landing pad. Something began to glow with a blue light right at their feet.... And then, completely unexpectedly, the dome began to open.
