Strange button

I shouldn't have touched it. But it was there - a mysterious red button, built into the wall of my grandfather's basement. It had no label. It had no cover. It was just there. And of course... I couldn't help myself. I glanced over my shoulder - no one was there. I drew in a breath and.... click! In a second: The walls began to tremble. The lights flickered. The floor ... disappeared. I felt myself flying downwards, but instead of falling, I was floating in some sort of tunnel of swirling light. Was I screaming? Maybe. I don't know. And then boom! I opened my eyes and... I was no longer in the basement. I was in a completely different place. And staring at me was a group of beings who were definitely not human. One of them came up and said: - So it's you... You went on a journey. But do you know what you did?
