The day started out perfectly normal. The alarm clock rang as it always does, the sun streamed in through the window, and I tried to gather the strength to get out of bed. But then something was wrong. As I raised my hand to rub my eyes, I saw that.... my hand was glowing with a soft blue light. I froze. I tried to move my fingers - and suddenly the notebook on the desk lifted into the air! What to do, how to do it! I jumped up, but.... I didn't land on the floor. I was floating in the air. My heart was pounding in my chest. Slowly, carefully, I tried to land. OK, somehow it worked. Is this a dream? Do I really have superpowers! I ran to the mirror. My reflection looked normal, but.... my eyes were flickering with a strange light. I began to experiment. I waved my hand - the door opened by itself. I jumped up - I flew a metre above the ground! I focused on the book on the shelf - it landed in my hand by itself. It was amazing! But then my mum came into the room. - 'Get up or you'll be late for school! How was I supposed to go to school when I had just discovered I had superpowers!
