The Adventurers' Club and the Lost Compass

It all started one hot afternoon when Margaret suggested meeting at an old, abandoned cottage on the edge of the Wetland Forest.
- The Adventurers' Club must go! - she announced enthusiastically, waving her inseparable note with a list of ideas.
Standing next to her were Leon, who always had a torch in his pocket, and Titus, the well-known sailing knot wizard. No one expected them to have the strangest adventure of their lives that day.
The hut was overgrown with ivy and none of the local residents had dared to go inside for many years. But for the Adventure Seekers Club, no such barriers existed! Slipping through the tall grass, Margaret led them towards a door that creaked like a sailor's gangway.
Inside, the air smelled of dust and old straw. Titus illuminated the corners with Leon's torch, looking for something interesting, until suddenly he found... an old brass compass under the board of a chest.
- Look! - he exclaimed, pulling out the object. The compass was strange - instead of the usual needle, it had two, spinning independently and drawn as if by hand.
Leon swallowed his saliva and carefully touched the compass. Suddenly, the needles stopped and started pointing in two different directions. Gretel, with impatience in her eyes, read the inscription engraved on the lid: "Whoever follows the clue will discover what is hidden".
For a while, no one spoke - their hearts beat faster. They were about to return home when a quiet rustling sound came from the depths of the hut, as if someone or something had moved in the shadows....
