The Forest Mystery of Luna the Owl

In the heart of the Old Forest, where the trees hummed even on windless days, lived an owl named Luna. Luna was the youngest of the owls in a large family, but she had long dreamed of having a real adventure. Every night she sat on her favourite branch, high above the ground, and watched the world go by. Her big amber eyes saw the slightest movement under the leafy carpet.
One night something changed. The moon hid behind the clouds, and the forest became unprecedentedly dark. Luna had never before seen so many of her neighbours - hedgehogs, squirrels and foxes - moving restlessly and whispering among themselves. Even the old trees seemed quieter than usual.
When Luna flew to her best friend, Felix the hedgehog, he was already waiting for her under a huge oak tree. "Luna, did you see that? Someone has taken the light from our clearing," he whispered with concern. Indeed, their favourite clearing, always bathed in silvery moonlight, was now drowning in deep shadow. In the middle lay a strange, glowing stone that had never been here before.
Luna and Felix were immediately joined by the gaunt squirrel Mila, who carried a map of the old forest paths under her arm. "I've heard that disappearing light has also been seen at the Whispering Spring. Maybe that's where we can find the answer?" she suggested.
The three friends made a decision - they would set off together through the night forest to unravel the mystery of the disappearing light. But as they approached the Whispering Spring, they saw something that made them freeze in stillness - a pair of brand-new, shining eyes emerged from the water and followed their every move....
