The Mystery of the Whitewashed Castle

One Saturday afternoon, Lena and her younger brother Johnny were sitting on the cold tiles in their bathroom. They didn't want to brush their teeth at all. Mum kept saying that taking care of hygiene was an important thing, but could it be interesting? Then Lena noticed that their favourite toothpaste with the magic lightning bolt on the tube had disappeared from the stand.
- Janek, look! - whispered Lena. - After all, I left it here last night!
Janek looked at his sister with wide-open eyes. Just then a strange shape appeared on the mirror - like a trace of little white paws.
- It must have been ... a tooth ghost! - joked Janek, but Lena already had a plan in her head.
- Let's find out where these footprints lead! - she called out. And before Janek had time to protest, Lena squeezed through the gap next to the cupboard under the sink. To their amazement, behind the cupboard they found a tiny door - so tiny that only someone the size of a toothbrush could pass through it.

They both squeezed through them - and suddenly found themselves in a .... a huge, glittering castle made of milk teeth! Characters made of toothpaste and dental floss were breezing up the marble staircase, and the air smelled of mint.
In the depths of the castle there was a rhythmic sound, as if of a beating heart. But the most surprising thing was that in the very centre of the throne room sat the king - a huge white tooth with a crown of gold dental floss. Next to him lay their toothpaste, surrounded by mysterious, smiling figures resembling .... bacteria?
Lena and Janek looked after each other with beating hearts. Should they come closer? Who was this bacterial team and why were they holding a paste? Suddenly, the royal tooth rose up and pointed at them with a gleaming sceptre, and whispers began to come from hundreds of sides of the castle....
