The Secret of the Blue Circle under Grandfather Oak

Berry crept quietly through the tall grass in her grandfather's garden. Philip followed her, trying not to rustle the twig in his hand. A holiday at his grandfather's house meant one thing - adventures you don't find in the city. There, between the gooseberry and raspberry bushes, hid something that no one could see but them.
That day they noticed something strange under the big, spreading oak tree. The ground was arranged in a perfectly round circle, and in the centre of it silver mushrooms grew and smelled different from everything around them. Grandpa once said: "This oak remembers another time. Not everything under it is as it seems."
- See! - whispered Jagoda, crouching by the circle. - It looks like a sign... maybe a map?
Philip knelt down next to it and touched the nearest mushroom with his finger. At that moment he felt the ground beneath him tremble slightly. Berry also put her hand on the moss. Next to him, among the grasses, a soft humming sounded, as if someone had quietly opened an invisible door.
Before they had time to move away, the circle lit up with blue light, and a liquid, glowing abyss unfolded beneath them. Before they realised what was happening, they slid downwards, as if they were gliding down an invisible slide amid swirling sparks.
After a moment, they landed softly on something springy and green. They looked around - they were in a bizarre meadow, where flowers had wings like butterflies and long-necked creatures with sapphire eyes walked in the distance. The sky shimmered with all shades of purple, and the clouds floating in it looked like big, fluffy fish.
Berry grabbed Philip's hand.
- Where are we? - She whispered with her eyes wide open.
- 'I have no idea...' replied Philip, looking at the sapphire-eyed creature approaching towards them, who had just started speaking to them in a strange, melodious voice....
