It was a quiet evening in the town of Toothland, where every street had a name related to oral hygiene and the houses looked like huge white teeth. 11-year-old Philip had just finished brushing his teeth when suddenly a strange green mist appeared in the bathroom. At the same moment, his toothbrush began to shake slightly and flash a blue light. - As for the toothpaste... - muttered Philip, surprised. At that moment, his best friend Lena poked her head out from behind the bath, holding a small bottle of magic rinse. Behind her, Maks, the inventor and master at arranging the toothpaste on his toothbrush in the shape of a wave, quietly entered. - Did you feel that? It's starting to get weird again! - whispered Lena. - It's not just me - added Maks. - A mysterious plague of tooth decay has swept through Toothland. Even Professor Fluorek from the laboratory said that such things only happen once every hundred years! The three friends decided to meet under the Stomatolat - the tallest "tooth" building in town, where it always smelled of fresh mint. They entered through a side entrance and started searching through the toothpaste supply cupboard. Suddenly, Lena sensed something moving under the marble tiles. Philip leaned over and spotted a small black door that no one had spoken of before. Curiosity overcame fear. They gently opened the door, from behind which came a luminous mist and a soft, melodious sound. After a moment, they saw a staircase leading down into the depths of the earth. Miniature brushes and vanishing specks of decay wandered along the walls of the stairs. The deeper they descended, the clearer they heard the whispering: - Beware ... you are entering the territory of the King of Caries.... And then two yellow blinds flashed out of the darkness, and Philip's toothbrush began to tremble like mad....
