Tymek's Magic Laces

Tymek loved to discover mysteries. Every spare moment he had, he would prowl his grandmother's attic, where the strangest objects from all the years of her life were hidden. One rainy afternoon, when all the household members had fallen asleep in their armchairs, Tymek snuck upstairs. There, behind a pile of dusty books, he saw a colourful old shoebox with the inscription "For you who discover the truth". Fascinated, he opened it and found inside a pair of shoelaces - red and blue. They looked ordinary, but when he touched each one individually, he felt a slight tingling in his fingers. Timothy, unable to resist, pulled the laces through the holes of his most favourite trainers and tied them exactly as the mysterious card lying at the bottom of the box showed. The moment he made the last loop, he felt as if a wave of energy ran through his body. He jumped up and... hovered in the air for a moment! He looked at his feet with his eyes wide open - could it be that he had just learned to fly? When he tried again, he lifted himself even higher and almost touched the ceiling! Suddenly, he heard a knocking below - someone was entering the attic. The door began to open slowly, and a whisper came from the corridor: "Tymek, is that you? I knew you'd find them eventually..." Timek hovered in the air, terrified and excited at the same time, having no idea who he would see in the doorway and what secrets were still hidden in his grandmother's attic....
